The Greater Salt Lake Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is looking for heroes in our community. Do you know a person who has saved a life or taken action in a crisis to help others? Someone who has performed lifesaving CPR or gone the extra mile in an emergency? A real Hero!

As a leader in local disaster preparedness, prevention and response, the Red Cross is honoring individuals whose extraordinary acts of courage and kindness make them heroes. Selected Heroes will be recognized at the eighth annual Heroes Luncheon on March 6 at the Energy Solutions Arena.

Guidelines for Nominations

The nominee must have performed the heroic act between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007. If the heroic act is job related, the nominee must have gone above and beyond the normal scope of the job to save a life or help others in crisis. The nominee must be a resident of or employed within the Greater Salt Lake Area Chapter boundaries (including Salt Lake, south Davis, Tooele, Wasatch, Summit, Duchesne, Daggett, Uintah, Washington or Kane counties). Nomination deadline is January 24 , 2008.
